Adding More Content

Now that the blog is actually running, here’s the rough plan for what’s going up. Three tiers, working forward from “what I’m doing right now” to “things I half-remember building a decade ago”.

Current

Projects I’m actively in the middle of, or that are close enough to “done” that the writing-up is the only thing left. These will get the most detail — schematics, parts lists, what went wrong, what I’d do differently next time.

Old

Projects that finished a while ago but are worth a proper write-up anyway. Mostly hardware: things I’ve built, broken, fixed, or upgraded over the years where the story is still useful even if the work isn’t fresh. Less moment-by-moment narrative than the current ones; more “here’s what it was, here’s what mattered”.

Archived

Short snippets of really old or scrappy projects — half-finished prototypes, one-evening hacks, things I’d otherwise just lose track of. A paragraph and maybe a photo each, so they at least exist on record. Not every project needs a full essay.

I’ll be learning and improving the writing as I go. If something here ages badly I’ll edit rather than pretend it didn’t.
